Can I opt-out of this Resident Benefits Package?
Yes – But only the Insurance Portion. Chambers Theory is providing the Resident Benefits Package to all tenants. -
What if I have my own Renters Insurance coverage?
Tenants may opt-out of the insurance portion of this program by uploading proof of Renter’s Insurance with coverage of at least $20,000, and naming Chambers Theory as ADDITIONALLY INSURED for a cost difference savings of $10.95 per month. -
How do I upload my own renters insurance to cancel the insurance portion of RBP?
If a Tenant already has their own insurance policy they must upload it to https://insurance.residentforms.com/pma-tenant-onboarding. Tenant will receive either an approval or rejection email with 48 hours of submission.
If rejection, nothing changes and the RBP will remain as $42.95/month until the tenant resubmits and gets approval. Rejection email will outline to Tenant why the policy was denied and provide instruction to correct and resubmit.
If approved, the RBP will adjust to $32.00/month. -
How do I submit a claim through my RBP renters insurance?
If a Tenant would like to submit an insurance claim they can go to this link http://filemyclaim.io/ and can also call Claims #: 844-723-2524. Tenant should notify their property manager of any claims they submit. -
